Critical masonry and concrete repairs to the British Waterways Building's canal-side elevation, delivered entirely on rope.

Challenge

The South elevation of the British Waterways Building sits directly over the canal — ruling out scaffolding and suspended platforms during a major redevelopment programme.

Approach

Concrete lintels were reformed and structural elements stabilised using thixotropic injection resins. All work delivered via rope access above water, eliminating the need for scaffolding or suspended platforms.

Outcome

Robust structural repairs completed with minimal disruption to the site and surrounding environment, contributing to the safe and timely progress of the redevelopment.
