Two 7.5m illuminated tray signs installed adjacent to live railway infrastructure, delivered in coordination with Network Rail.
Challenge
The building's proximity to an operational train station and live railway ruled out powered access. Restricted ground space and the safety risks of operating adjacent to the railway made conventional methods unsuitable.
Approach
Apex developed a carefully planned rope-access solution, liaising directly with the Network Rail Asset Protection team. Detailed risk assessments and method statements ensured full compliance with rail safety requirements.
Outcome
Two 7.5m illuminated tray signs installed safely and efficiently with no disruption to rail operations or nearby stakeholders.
