London buildings bring their own constraints: tight pavements where a scaffold needs a council licence, estates that only allow works out of hours, high-rise facades served by building maintenance units, and sites that sit right beside live railways. Rope access suits them because a small team rigs from the roof, works the elevation and packs away without a structure standing on the street or blocking an entrance.
At Revolut's Canary Wharf office we installed two 3m-high flexface letters out of hours, combining the building's BMU with rope access and lifting sections of more than 900kg under an internal lift plan, with liaison across Gardiner & Theobald, McMullen Facades and Canary Wharf estate management. At Staycity Aparthotels, London Heathrow, two 7.5m-long illuminated tray signs went up beside the live railway, planned with Network Rail's Asset Protection team.
London projects are planned and delivered by the same team as the rest of our work: a survey, RAMS and lift plans where the job needs them, rope access supervised on site by an IRATA Level 3 technician in line with the IRATA code of practice, and early coordination with estate management, principal contractors and building managers over access, permits and working hours.

Rope-access technicians provide close-up visual inspection of this high-level fabric — recording loose masonry, failed pointing, cracked stone and defective lead — and supply a referenced photographic record for the inspecting architect or surveyor to fold into the quinquennial (QI) or condition report. We provide the access and the findings; the appointed inspector retains the report.
